Please contribute your arguments on why you agree or disagree. Thank you... we gotta make life more intresting for ourselves and others!
quote:
I blame this world for making a good man evil
It's this world that can drive a good man mad
This world can turn a killer into a hero
I just blame this world for making a good man bad
If you read it closely, the person who said the above sounds really bitter and hates the world because of problems(?) has been hurt deeply before(?) or just simply hates this world and the people in it because e thinks he ought to be treated differently.
Now let's imagine we put ourself into his shoes, and we can make a choice....
1)To be a victim
2)To change things and be
Choose 1 and we will always be blaming this world and everyone in it, because we chose to be victims. Actually horr, in this world everyone feels like a victim, and everyday, you see men and women gathering around to tell victim stories, how they are victimised and blah blah blah....
Choose 2 then we would take a look at things from a different POV, we would choose to make a change and be responsible enough to say that this is what I think is but it is not happening in my life because I refuse to accept that I am a victim. I want to be different and make a change!
Shucks what am I talking about? I don't even understand what am I talking about.... sheesh....

life is always a compromise between the two choices...
just that in some, one of the choices is more dominant
for me? choice one seems to be the dominant one, BUT choice two do come out some times

so, live life the way it is meant to be...one day at a time.
why fret over such things?

I agree wif cookee... positivity is really veri powerful... i used to be like dat... bitter about the way life treats me and all, but after reading a couple of good books, my viewpoint began to change... we must realise that in life, no matter how adverse the circumstances we find ourselves in, there's always two choices; blame the world for it, or accept the circumstances and think of how we can change it.

Aiyah, cannot like that say mah, u must take one bold step forward to change your life, then you would realise that you may afterall feel glad that you did put your best foot forward ya?
I do agree that not all such books could work, but still horr, the book can help out say 15% the rest of the 85% will depends on how you want to apply it in your life.

Yupz. I agree with Cookee. Different people different points of views. For my case, gonna depend whether I have the mood to read or not.

You have to truly want to learn something and improve your own life before u start reading. If one were to take a skeptical view and start reading, forget it i would say.
Why is it that we think not all these books work? Thats because every scenario can't possibly be apply to our life. In time as we grow older, years down the road, we might experience it or we might not.
