why is the signature been disabled??
I can understand the bandwidth problem but at least be able to have 2-3 lines of text as your signature??

signatures can easily get out of hand... and besides, they're usually pretty annoying.

Death to sigs. They serve no constructive/useful purpose.
And annoys the hell outta me.
Same BIASed maths

2-3 lines per person. (assuming same person)
if active thread and he posts 5 msgs.
then its 10-15 lines (not included the top and bottom white lines to seperate sigs from text)

yeah all of the guru signatures were quite cool and not annoying, and give each person a little bit of identity in the other wise anonymous forums, guru always had a strict 75kb limit, and that worked fine...

you forget about temporary internet files. second, the average speed of a 56k user when just browsing the web is 16k-up/20k-down in other words, at guru3d all the 56kers and lower have never complained about the speed. we used to have a more "liberal" limit. perhaps this could be settled at a poll? a poll specifically for 56kers and lower? ehh?
and ps: how do you obtain moderator status. i make red faction maps for the guru clan, i would be happy to do it for your clan as well if you want

where do you get off coming to another forum after you were banned from the first, whining for signatures, whining for moderator status (on your first day too), and generally being a smartass? wtf do you even need moderator status for? do you get some kind of power trip out of it, do you have a big ego that needs boosting?
give it a rest already. earn the respect of the current forumers before asking to moderate us. I don't want signatures and I don't want you as my moderator.
that's my "real" answer.

blee bloppy bloo blee, you people are certainly quick to judge, did you miss the part whered id be HAPPY to make you shit and contribute to the forums and/or site. jeez. first of all, i could less about moderator status, all i wanted was a yes or no, not some lecture on how to become accepted in the forums. I came here cuz i thought it was cool. I asked about moderator status cuz i thought it would be NICE to have. Im not basing my life on the almighty moderator status. I was asking for sigs because i personally think theyre cool, also the fact i was a little confused why there would be an option for it if its disabled. and about the ego boost. i dont think highly of myself at all, and its obvious that you dont either, i could care less. but you came off as giving me an attitude, so i thought of eye for an eye. alright sheesh.

also, i got banned because i was pissed at hilbert for closing the site when he had a solution. He could have given it to someone else and he could have been free. People were dedicated and attatched to the site. I was defending the viewers. i was banned initially for no reason, but in other words i was banned because i had a "smart mouth" he couldnt take being insulted, then i got quickly banned. the guy just didnt like to be insulted, i could of course care less.

i was banned from PC innovations because cappy didnt think highly of the dictionary. Aparently 12 year old kids are offended by it. Its a long story, and im tired. Does this answer you questions? Sorry for coming off as in ass, i didnt think i was.
