I love these titleist ap1, they look great, feel strong at impact on the ball and such a forgiving iron when you mis-hit the ball. The stiff flex shaft just fits my swing for consistancy. I don't think I could find a golf club that would be better for me on my budget. I am just really happy with them.The ap1 are longer and more accurate than my Mizuno MX100's and more forgiving, longer, easier to hit and nearly as much feel as my Callaway Hawkeyes with graphite shafts.

They set up nicely at address and put the ball where it's aimed. They easily get the ball in the air and distance is at least a club and a half further than my Mizunos.I'd say the ap1 irons are well suited to an 80 to 100 stroke average golfer. I average in the low 90s and dropped 5 strokes with these irons and will probably lose a couple more as I get accustomed to the new fou...Read full reviewnd distance!However, there is also some difference between titleist 712 AP1 irons and titleist 712 AP2 irons. Compared with the titleist 712 AP2 Irons, the Titleist AP1 712 Irons are with the same size as their prede cessors, the most significant new feature is a progressive blade length, which the overall goal is to better apply the different materials players use in the design.
