I have an X25M G2 160 GB with the latest firmware. I also am running Win 7 x64 with the drive connected to SATA AHCI. Supposedly TRIM is just "suppose" to work correct?

Why does my drive get significantly faster then under CrystalDiskMark 3.0 after I run the Intel SSD Optimizer? I thought the drive was not suppose to slow down over time if TRIM was working properly. Am I missing something?
