Background
Fueled by unnerving advancements in technology, IT has rapidly evolved from an industry to an entire new lifestyle. In fact, every individual now is compelled, in some form or other, to embrace it as part of everyday living. As a result, we have begun to witness the slow, but steady digression of IT from its technical focal, as it traverses into layman territory.

In many ways, the above observation has been compounded by developments within the manufacturer circle of late. Take the PC industry for example, where IT takes a majority stake. Numerous manufacturers have sprung forth to seize whatever OEM reference designs available and brand them under their own umbrella. Consequently, the technical distinction between consumer products has become largely marginalized, such that other methods have been sought by manufacturers to instill greater product differentiation. In some cases, better software bundles are employed. Whilst the more daring ones, have branched out to target the less “pro-sumer” market, and have added user-friendly functions to promote more intuitive learning or enhance interactive usage.

Logitech: The Company

Logitech represent one such company, who dares to venture forward and adapt its cornerstone products with milestone features to convenience the layman. Over the years, it has stayed focus as a renowned PC peripherals manufacturer, yet have remained pro-active in improving its core products. These innovative traits are aptly encapsulated by the number of industry “firsts” that they hold claim – first cordless and opto-mechanical mice, first colour handheld scanner, etc. Another “key” example would be their excellent cordless iTouch and Freedom keyboards, which have become the dominant cordless RF-driven keyboards in the market today.

Notably, Logitech products stand out in their adaptive designs to suit the consumer. Their accessories often sport more than good durability and construct, but are usually accompanied with pleasing ergonomics and feel. In particular, their MouseMan line of products vividly testify to this, being crafted with nicely contoured edges to suit one's palm and grip.

Likewise, Logitech's latest mouse offering - the IFeel mouse, is premised on enhancing the user experience. Apart from being optically driven, the IFeel mouse also represents the first of its kind – one that vibrates in response to pointer interaction onscreen!

But before getting overly excited, let’s acquaint ourselves with this snug piece of "mousing" equipment…

With a sleek silver/blue finishing, the Logitech IFeel Mouse certainly looks sexy for the taking!!
