The bundled software comes in a
CD and consists of the following :

Intel
LANDesk Client Manager
The Intel LANDesk Client Manager is an application that
is supposed to simplify computer management and assist
in troubleshooting common computer problems. However,
the system kept crashing with the infamous Blue Screen
of Death during bootup after installing the software.
I tried disabling all startup programs and used conservative
settings for Win98 SE but the problem still recurred.
Not overclocking the chip and rearranging the peripheral
cards did not help either. Many attempts at working around
this problem were done, short of formatting my hard disk
and reinstalling Windows. Frustrated, I was not willing
to waste my time any further and gave the application
a skip.
Trend
PC-Cillin Anti-Virus
The Trend PC-Cillin Anti-Virus program is your run-of-the-mill
virus protection software. Nothing much to mention here
except that if you already own a similar application such
as Norton Anti-Virus 4.0/5.0/2000, give this one a skip.
ASUS PC
Probe
The ASUS PC Probe is a simple utility that monitors vital
information in the computer such as fan rototations, voltages
and temperature. Additionally, it gives system information
such as hard disk space, memory usage, CPU type and processor
speed. After installation, the application resides in the
taskbar and provides audio warning through the PC speakers
if certain thresholds such as temperature and voltage have
been exceeded. If your system is overclocked, remember to
raise the appropriate warning limits or face frequent warning
pop-ups.
