Celeron @ 504 MHz - Part 3

Conclusion

Good figures in the benchmarks are nothing if the system is not stable. 504 Mhz is currently about 80% stable on my current configuration. This is most probably due to the Adaptec SCSI controller I have, which does not like the increase of the bus speed from 100 Mhz to 112 Mhz.

Meanwhile, 464 Mhz is rock stable and the chip is running at a cool 1.95v.

The ease of overclocking and gaining extra speed has never been easier before. If you have a older Pentium MMX processors, this is a very good time to upgrade your processor and motherboard!
