MS SideWinder Force Feedback Wheel - Part 6

Conclusion
Having spent one week on the wheel thus far (from 7th to 14th March), I must say that this is the absolutely the best addition to my PC gaming experience since I last splurged on my Voodoo2 SLI. I love racing games and this is absolutely the only way to go if you are into racing games.

"If money is no issue and you are a budding Schumacher, hit the nearest store and realised your dream. Otherwise, you can continue driving with 4 fingers on the keyboard or one hand on your joystick."

I noticed that the other reviews mentioned that the steering wheel felt a bit notchy due to the fact that the whole system is driven by gears as opposed to using a belt (used in Act Labs Racing Wheel). These reviews noted that a belt driven system produces smoother force feedback. But let me assure you of this – when you are racing down a corner at 250 km/h, wrestling with the wheel and trying to get into an advantageous position, the last thing you will notice is the notchy feel of the steering wheel.

So I guess the sixty-four thousand dollar question on your mind now is: should I get it? If money is no issue and you are a budding Schumacher, hit the nearest store and realised your dream. Otherwise, you can continue driving with 4 fingers on the keyboard or one hand on your joystick.
